Sam Montgomery visits Vols; Quinton Washington down to three schools
Posted Jan 31, 2009
Offensive lineman Quinton Washington (6-foot-4, 315 pounds) of Timberland has USC on his list of final three schools. Washington eliminated Clemson and Tennessee on Thursday, according to his coach, Art Craig. He will decide among USC, Michigan and Miami. USC and Michigan are the top two. He will visit Miami this weekend.
Sam Montgomery had in- home visits with coaches from North Carolina, Tennessee and LSU on Thursday. Montgomery will leave Saturday morning on an official visit to Tennessee. He is considering South Carolina, Clemson and Michigan.
On a related note, the Tennessee Journalist had this to say about Montgomery:
"Almost every school left on Montgomery's board appears to have a legitimate chance to land the Palmetto State stud. When Signing Day comes, watch out for the home state school (South Carolina or Clemson) to land Montgomery, or possibly North Carolina."
