Watch as double Tar Heel, NASA mission commander Zena Cardman heads to space


Zena Cardman is heading out of this world. The astronaut, who delivered UNC's 2024 Spring Commencement address, is the mission commander for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 mission to the International Space Station. Liftoff is scheduled for 12:09 p.m. July 31 from Kennedy Space Center. A livestream of the launch is available on several streaming platforms. (UNC.edu)
