Bill Belichick breaks down timeline for UNC football quarterback battle

Posted Aug 2, 2025
"What you don’t want to do is pick player A and then end up going with player B," Bill Belichick said about naming UNC's starting quarterback. "Let ‘em compete and then once you’re sure it’s player B, make it player B or player A. Once we know who has earned that spot — it’s not us picking ‘em, it’ll be that player earning it — then we’ll decide." (MSN.com)
