Posted Feb 1, 2009
North Carolina survived the rising heat of a torrid N.C. State charge after halftime yesterday to get its second ACC road win in four days and move into second place in the conference. North Carolina got 31 points from Tyler Hansbrough and at least 10 from all four other starters to win 93-76 at the RBC Center, a game that was marred by a skirmish at the end. UNC won its fifth consecutive ACC game after being 0-2. It improved to 19-2 overall.
