When asked Mike Priefer to join his North Carolina football coaching staff last January, it was a difficult decision and yet it wasn't. The 59-year-old longtime special teams coach was spending time with his wife at their lake house in Georgia and life was good. It certainly didn't have the daily stress and grind of coaching.
