Jheranie Boyd to make TV appearance on Signing Day

There was no way Ashbrook senior Jheranie Boyd was going to let National Signing Day quietly slip by. Boyd, the highly rated wide receiver who performed a skit to announce his college decision, plans to make a national TV appearance on ESPNU Wednesday after signing with North Carolina. "I want to do it big," Boyd said. Boyd will travel to ESPNU's headquarters in Charlotte for a 1:30 p.m. interview. (Gaston Gazette)
