Michigan gets major fine, add to Sherrone Moore ban for sign stealing; will appeal


The University of Michigan received a series of fines that could eclipse $30 million but avoided punitive penalties such as a postseason ban or the vacating of victories, including during the 2023 national championship season, as the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions ruled on the Wolverines' advance-scouting case Friday.
