Niall Shiels Donegan just misses U.S. Amateur Championship match

Niall Shiels Donegan looked all week like he might be touched by the golfing gods at the U.S. Amateur. He made into into a playoff among all the players who finished the two rounds at the Olympic Club at three-over par. Shiels Donegan walked the tightrope for 18 holes Saturday in the semi-final, but he would end up on the wrong end of a 1-up score. (TarHeel247)
