Women’s sports are worth investing in, and UNC Athletics Directory Bubba Cunningham realizes this. Look no further than the volleyball and softball squads, where recent hires have raised UNC’s profiles. The problem is that there is only so much money to go around and two programs on campus that drive revenue — football and men’s basketball.
