Steve Newmark’s UNC contract is packed with potential bonuses


Steve Newmark is set to earn $600,000 during the upcoming school year before his salary increases to $1 million when he takes over as UNC’s athletics director on July 1, 2026. Newmark will serve this year as executive associate director of athletics, while Bubba Cunningham remains in charge for the upcoming school year. Read his entire contract here. (Tar Heel Tribune)
