Former UNC Cornerback Kyler McMichael released by Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers released cornerback Kyler McMichael in a round of roster cuts Friday. McMichael signed a reserve/future contract with the Steelers in January after spending time with the club in training camp in 2024. McMichael is in his fourth pro season out of UNC. The 24-year-old appeared in two preseason games for the Steelers last year.
