Bill Belichick reconstructs roster, implements NFL systems in new era for UNC football

On Dec. 11, 2024, UNC officially announced the hiring of eight-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick as the program’s next head coach. Throughout the offseason, Belichick has rebuilt UNC’s roster — featuring 70 new players — and has worked to install his methods into the program. Belichick’s ties to North Carolina go way back to his childhood. (Daily Tar Heel)
