UNC's Reese Brantmeier, Alanis Hamilton Fall In US Open 2nd Round


No. 4 seed Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens defeated UNC's and Alanis Hamilton, 6-3, 6-1 on Saturday in the second round of the 2025 US Open. Brantmeier and Hamilton won their first-round match Thursday to advance. The Tar Heels begin the 2025-26 season at the Invitational in Chapel Hill on Sept. 12-14. (GoHeels.com)
