After taking part in a postgame trophy presentation on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium field, South Carolina Gamecocks football coach Shane Beamer walked over to his father and gave him a hug. After Shane walked away, his father, legendary former Virginia Tech Hokies football coach Frank Beamer, brushed a tear from his eye.
