UNC quarterback Max Johnson’s storybook comeback; once unthinkable, now reality:


One year ago, lay in a hospital bed after being rushed off the field during UNC's 2024 season opener. Doctors weren't even sure he'd walk again. He underwent five surgeries and spent nine days in the hospital. Yet, 368 days later, Johnson ran out of the tunnel at Kenan Memorial Stadium, wearing the iconic Carolina blue uniform once again.
