UNC quarterback Gio Lopez shows dual-threat ability in bounce-back performance
Posted Sep 7, 2025

Lopez was sharper and steadier in the Tar Heels’ 20–3 win at Charlotte on Saturday, completing 17 of 25 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 44 yards. It was the kind of dual-threat, and bounce-back, performance UNC envisioned.
