Winners: Gio Lopez - The stats aren’t gaudy. He only went 17-25 for 155 yards passing and rushed nine times for 44 yards to be UNC's second-leading rusher against Charlotte, but the most important stat for Gio was zero. As in zero turnovers. Running back Demon June led all rushers with 52 yards including a 19 yard gain, and clearly earned more reps. (Tar Heel Blog)
