UNC bet big on coach Bill Belichick, hoping the NFL coaching great could lead the Tar Heels to football relevance on the field and, importantly, fill their coffers. The Eearly indications are that it’s working. Even before he coached a game, North Carolina’s football program increased sponsorships, ticket sales, media attention and donations. (WRAL.com)
