UNC linebackers coach Jamie Collins brings NFL pedigree to his first coaching job

When called, Jamie Collins didn’t hesitate. He retired from the NFL in 2023 after a 10-year career as a linebacker that included making the Pro Bowl in 2015 and winning a Super Bowl in 2014, both with Belichick. Collins was ready when Belichick offered him the position as UNC's inside linebackers coach. "It was a no-brainer," Collins said. (Tar Heel Tribune)
