The Tar Heels had their most complete football game of the season as they defeated Richmond 41-6. For the first time this season, North Carolina (2-1) scored more than two touchdowns and both sides of the ball contributed to its success as the defense scored on a 62-yard scoop-and-score by linebacker Mikai Gbayor.
