Tar Heels beat Terps, lose Ginyard
Posted Feb 4, 2009
Wayne Ellington scored a season-high 34 points and No. 3 North Carolina hit a season-best 16 3-pointers in its sixth straight victory, a 108-91 rout of Maryland on Tuesday night. Toward the end of the game, the Tar Heels announced swingman Marcus Ginyard will miss the rest of the season and seek a medical redshirt because of an injured left foot.
