Diamondbacks pitcher Zac Gallen set the tone in the first inning when he struck out San Francisco Giants shortstop Willy Adames for his 1,000th strikeout as a member of the organization. In the moment, it was just the second out of the game, but he had, unbeknownst to him, pitched his way into an exclusive pantheon of Arizona hurlers.
