ACC votes in favor of adopting nine-game conference football schedule

ACC commissioner Jim Phillips announced Monday that the ACC will adopt a nine-game regular-season football schedule. This includes a minimum 10 games against Power 4 opponents. The move mirrors the SEC’s change made this year. The goal for both conferences are to ensure that teams are well-prepared to compete in the College Football Playoff. (On3.com)
