Gio Lopez’s status unclear heading into Clemson game

UNC quarterback Gio Lopez could play Saturday against Clemson, Coach Bill Belichick said at his Tuesday press conference. Lopez has struggled to find a rhythm, completing 42 of 67 passes for three touchdowns and three interceptions and a 122.42 passer rating, with 45 net rushing yards. He injured his right leg in the 34–9 loss at UCF on Sept. 20. (Tar Heel Tribune)
