UNC Basketball practices have been intense, and freshman Derek Dixon wouldn’t have it any other way. Since arriving on campus, the 6-5 guard has been immersed in a competitive environment that suits him perfectly. From summer open gym battles to daily practices, Dixon has learned that this season's Tar Heels are built on toughness and defense.
