Retired UNC basketball coach Roy Williams helps unveil $5M in new debt relief for Western NC

During Saturday’s North Carolina vs. Clemson football game, Verizon and ForgiveCo announced an additional $5 million in debt relief for Western North Carolina residents in honor of the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. The announcement, made alongside legendary UNC basketball coach Roy Williams, brings the total debt relief to $15 million.
