Anna Shields signs letter of intent to run for UNC

No matter how fast she can go, Lewis Mills distance runner Anna Shields never imagined when she first started that it might actually take her anywhere. Now, after signing a national letter of intent on Friday morning to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next fall, her journey may be just beginning. Shields is receiving a full scholarship to run for the school’s cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. (Bristol Press)
