Randy Wiel was once first in line to be UNC's head coach. The former Tar Heel player and assistant coach died this month at 74. There was so much about his life and career. He was a basketball player and policeman in Curaçao. Randy spoke five languages and was a serious musician as well as being good enough in basketball to benefit a worthy program.
