A statue to honor Marty Brennanan – and an era of baseball that's gone forever


Even the clouds knew it was a special day in Cincinnati. Right on cue, they parted above the riverfront, and sunlight flooded into the crowd gathered to witness the unveiling of the newest statue at Great American Ball Park. The man of the hour, legendary broadcaster and UNC alum , ascended the stage aptly wearing his trademark aviators. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
