Belichick says report linking Virginia QB to UNC ‘making up stories’ but says program spoke to agent

Bill Belichick opened his Tuesday press conference discussing Virginia’s "impressive string" of wins, but it didn’t take long to be asked about a report from The Athletic that UVa. quarterback Chandler Morris showed "extreme" interest in transferring to UNC before this season. "We didn’t have any contact with Chandler Morris. We spoke to his agent." (Tar Heel Tribune)
