New lineup, same result for Virginia

Dave Leitao elected to go with same five players who had played almost the entire second half in the loss to Boston College on Wednesday. The idea was to go with a unit featuring the most passionate people. The strategy worked for a little while. However, in the end, North Carolina’s talent was just too much to overcome. Thanks to 20 points from Wayne Ellington, they had little trouble with Virginia, cruising to a 76-61 win .
