Illinois high school baseball player Andrew Talbert commits to UNC

One of the best baseball players on the stateline has made his college decision. Byron’s Andrew Talbert has chosen to play for UNC. Andrew was instrumental for the Tigers last year as a pitcher. In a game that clinched the Big Northern Championship for Byron, Andrew didn’t allow a hit and notched seven strikeouts in nearly five innings. (WIFR)
