Drake Powell made his NBA debut in his home state with his parents watching from the stands in a game that featured a strong performance from his Brooklyn Nets teammate Day'Ron Sharpe. Sharpe came off the bench to score 14 points, including a step-back 3-pointer, with four rebounds, two blocks and a steal, in Brooklyn’s 136-117 loss in Charlotte. (Tar Heel Tribune)
