The Big Four each have time for improvement

Some thought North Carolina could finish this season with an undefeated record. The first two games of the ACC slate — both losses — proved that theory wrong. The Tar Heels are winners of seven straight league games since, and they are where most expected them to be — atop the league standings. North Carolina has looked talented in many of those wins, too, and a buzzer-beater at Florida State avoided a hiccup. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
