Former UNC JV Basketball players reflect after team is cut


The hours before varsity basketball games in the Dean E. Smith Center this season will be a lot quieter. After 53 years of the North Carolina JV basketball program, which was founded after freshmen were granted varsity eligibility, the House v. NCAA settlement limited basketball rosters to 15 players, taking away UNC’s ability to sponsor a JV program. (Daily Tar Heel)
