Drake Maye’s precociousness traces to his upbringing. His father, Mark Maye, played quarterback at the University of North Carolina from 1984 to 1987. Drake competed constantly with his older brothers. Luke Maye nailed the buzzer beater that vaulted the 2017 Tar Heels to the Final Four on their way to a national championship.
