UNC Women’s Soccer Tops Third-Seeded Tennessee, 3-1, In NCAA Tournament First Round

UNC Women's Soccer (13-6, 6-4 ACC) opened the 2025 NCAA Tournament with a 3-1 win on the road against No. 3 Tennessee (Highlights). The Tar Heels were led by a brace from Kate Faasse. Carolina will head to Fort Worth, Texas for the second round of the tournament next week. The Tar Heels will face the sixth seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders on Nov. 20.
