In-state foes, starting with Wake, stand between UNC and bowl eligibility in Belichick's first year

The path to bowl eligibility in coach Bill Belichick’s first season at North Carolina runs right through the Tar Heels’ in-state rivals. The Tar Heels (4-5 overall, 2-3 ACC standings) need two more regular-season victories to become bowl eligible for the seventh consecutive season with games at Wake Forest, vs. Duke, and at NC State remaining.
