UNC Men’s Soccer Advances To NCAA Tournament Second Round On Penalty Kicks, 6-5


UNC Men's Soccer won a thriller by advancing on penalty kicks, 6-5, against North Florida in the NCAA Championship first round Thursday night (Highlights). Both sides converted their first five penalties, but UNC's Andrew Cordes saved the Ospreys' sixth attempt. Luis Vera made the seventh penalty and UNF hit the bar to give the Tar Heels the win.
