Big difference in production from transfer QBs for Duke, UNC entering rivalry game
Posted Nov 22, 2025
North Carolina's offense with Gio Lopez at quarterback hasn’t seen anything close to Duke’s level of offensive success. UNC ranks next to last or last in the 17-team ACC in passing offense, total offense, scoring offense, third-down offense and red zone offense. The Tar Heels rank 111th or worse, in some cases much worse, in all those offensive categories.
