The final buzzer didn’t even sound. A sea of purple rushed the field, while dots of Carolina blue stood still. Sietske Brüning bent down by the left crossbar. crouched behind the cage. Charly Bruder put her hands over her head in disbelief, and her jaw dropped. Stunned. Minutes ticked by. The players stood right where their season ended. (Daily Tar Heel)
