During NC State’s 94-70 win over UAB two weeks ago, Deron Rippey Jr. was serenaded with chants of “We want Rippey!” from Wolfpack fans. Rippey Jr. recently whittled a list of offers down to NC State, Duke, Miami, Tennessee, and Texas. According to Deron Rippey Sr., a commitment is coming soon for the No. 1- ranked point guard in the 2026 class. (Zag's Blog)
