Tyler Nickel and Jalen Washington both scored double figures in a Vanderbilt victory, while Cade Tyson scored 19 points in a Minnesota loss. Vanderbilt (7–0) advanced to the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game with an 89-74 win Thursday over VCU. Washington had his best game as a Commodore, tying his season-high with 11 points. Nickel scored 16.
