Hubert Davis says Tar Heels have to get better in ‘trenches’

Against physical teams, Hubert Davis says that No. 16 North Carolina is going to have to be tougher inside. That comes after the Thanksgiving loss to No. 7 Michigan State in a game defined by bruising play. The interior challenge might not be quite as stiff Thursday at No. 18 Kentucky, but Davis said his team’s resolve to battle inside will still be important.
