UNC's Vera Sjöberg Becomes Eighth-Fastest 3k Athlete In NCAA History


Vera Sjöberg (8:43.06) is now the eighth fastest 3k athlete in NCAA history as she shattered 's UNC record in the women's 3000m. Sjöberg is not only the first woman in school history to run a sub-nine-minute 3k, but she also broke the record by 17 seconds.
