Cal football hires Oregon DC Tosh Lupoi as next head coach


Cal hired Oregon defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi as the Bears' next head coach. Lupoi played at Cal from 2000 to 2005 before starting his coaching career with the Bears in 2008. Lupoi was a DL coach at Berkeley through 2011 and developed a reputation as an elite recruiter. In each of the past three seasons, Lupoi has led the Ducks' defense to a top-25 unit. (ESPN.com)
