Vera Sjöberg Named ACC Women’s Track Performer Of The Week

UNC's Vera Sjöberg earned her first ACC track and field accolade when she was named Women's Track Performer of the Week on Tuesday. Sjöberg (8:43.06) is now the eighth fastest 3k athlete in NCAA history as she shattered the twenty-two-year-old school record held by Shalane Flanagan in the women's 3000m, breaking the record by 17 seconds.
