Eight UNC wrestlers were victorious Friday night, as the 22nd-ranked Tar Heels downed No. 17 West Virginia, 27-7 inside Carmichael Arena (Highlights). The 6-0 start is the best start to a campaign since 2005-06, and the fifth time in program history the Tar Heels have won their first six duals of the season (1979-80, 1986-87, 1993-94, 2005-06, 2025-26).
