North Carolina Gets By USC Upstate With Home Victory

North Carolina’s performance was far from dominant, but it proved to be enough for a Saturday victory at home. The Tar Heels advanced to 9-1 against USC Upstate on Saturday, winning 80-62 in the Smith Center. The Spartans did their best to stay around, keeping the UNC lead under 10 points at halftime and getting within eight in the second half. (Inside Carolina)
