Cade Tyson turned Williams Arena into his personal showcase Sunday, exploding for a career-high 38 points and tying a Minnesota school record with eight 3-pointers in an 89-53 rout of Texas Southern. Tyson was hot from the start, scoring 12 of the Gophers’ first 20 points and finishing the first half with 23 points, making five of seven 3-point attempts.
